Complete Vampire Chronicles by Anne Rice

The Vampire Chronicles is a collection of novels that spread across three interlocking series by horror writer Anne Rice. At the center of the franchise is Lestat de Lioncourt, a vampire who was a French nobleman in the 18th century. Rice says her vampires are a “metaphor for lost souls.” The blockbuster Vampire Chronicles have sold tens of million copies around the world, and been adapted into the films Interview with the Vampire (1994) and The Queen of the Damned (2002). There was also the short-lived 2005 Broadway musical Lestat, with a score by Elton John and Bernie Taupin, and book by Linda Woolverton. AMC has acquired the television rights to the books to create multiple series set in the same universe (as the books are).
