Paranormal romance author Heather Elizabeth King has been a story teller as long as she can remember. Some of her favorite memories are of telling stories to her girlfriends at slumber parties when she was a pre-teen.
King says that if you’re like her, there’s nothing you like better than a good read. “I grew up with five older sisters and they all loved horror movies,” she says. “As a result, I was introduced to all things scary at a young age.”
Some of her favorite memories are of gathering around the TV on a Saturday night with the family to watch a scary movie on HBO. “I’d seen The Howling, Evil Dead, and Friday the 13th, all before I was old enough to date,” she says. “It was only natural that when I started writing my own stories, they’d be paranormal.”
Of course, she points out, she writes romance… “With monsters, and urban fantasy…with even more monsters,” she says. “If you like a good monster tale as much as I do, browse my pages and check out a few of my books.”
