Mockumentary horror comedy TV show Wellington Paranormal follows police investigators tracking supernatural events like demon possession, haunted houses, and blood bank robberies. A spinoff of the hilarious film What We Do in Shadows,Wellington Paranormal’s lead characters, Officers Minogue and O'Leary, debuted in that movie as indifferent police officers.

Created by Taika Waititi and Jemaine Clement, Wellington Paranormal starred Mike Minogue, Karen O’Leary, and Cori Gonzalez-Macuer. Waititi and Clement, who wrote, directed and performed in What We Do in the Shadows, served as the executive producers.
