The deal with my crime comedy KINGDOM COME

It’s not the end of the world—which could be a problem...

Taking a look back at my previously published book Tribulation House—now being updated as I CAN’T BELIEVE IT’S NOT KINGDOM COME. My End-Times thriller that’s NOT an End-Times thriller. Because the mob is in no mood to discuss end-times theology...

I Can’t Believe It’s Not Kingdom Come is a crime comedy that involves some confusion over misinterpreted religious stuff. Here’s my brand-new book trailer!

I’m serializing I CAN’T BELIEVE IT'S NOT KINGDOM COME free on Substack: ➡️ https://chriswell.substack.com/p/start-reading-kingdom-come

ABOUT THE BOOK:

Thinking he knows the time and date for the return of Jesus, a man borrows a lot of money from a loan shark for one last fling. But when the world fails to end on schedule, he discovers that the mob is in no mood to discuss end-times theology...

One of my big plans for 2024 is to complement Monster Complexwith my new account over at Substack. The ultimate plan is to continue using Monster Complex to talk about monster stories by other people—and then use the Substack blog to share more of my own perspective. Which includes my own fiction.

However, Substack has a number of cool bonus features—and I still have to figure out how to make use of them. So, I’m going to kick off my serialized fiction with (a new edition of) one of my previously published novels. Originally titled Tribulation House, I’ll be serializing this new edition over at Substack. The plan is to figure out the best ways to make use of their platform—including the audio and video features they have to create bonus materials. :)

By the way, back when Tribulation House came out, I did receive some nice endorsements:

“Laugh out loud at Well’s delightful satire of the underworld and the evangelical world.” (PUBLISHERS WEEKLY)

“Gilded in satire, Well takes a punch at religious misunderstandings and end times prophesies. He reveals Biblical truth in an entertaining and easy to read style.” (THE SUSPENSE ZONE)

*EDITOR'S PICK* “Well has taken his craft even higher...” (NEW MAN MAGAZINE)

Want to read the book? It will be available free to my subscribers over at Substack!
