Hyde Street: Ghost Machine’s hit horror comic combines ‘Twilight Zone’ with character-driven mythologies
Hyde Street horror comic book by writer Geoff Johns and artist Ivan Reis
What is the secret of Hyde Street?
Horror anthology combines Twilight Zone drama with rich, sprawling, character-driven mythologies…
In every city and town, off every country road and metropolis avenue, if you make a wrong turn—you could find yourself on Hyde Street. Be careful who you talk to and what you do, because the consequences make death itself seem like the easy way out.
“We get to play in a world where ‘bad’ is a sliding scale,” says series writer Geoff Johns. “All the residents have done something to end up on Hyde Street. But do they deserve their fate? Is redemption possible? [Artist Ivan Reis] and I were never interested in doing just a book about monsters—we wanted there to be some humanity to every character.”
A whole new generation of epic horror begins with a walk down HYDE STREET. In every town, in every city, and off every country road in every corner of the world… you can find your way here. Get ready to meet MR. X-RAY, PRANKY THE SCOUT, THE COLONIST, and many, many more wonderfully intriguing and terrifying characters, all soon to thrill your senses and populate your nightmares.
