On The Prowl (Alpha&Omega #0.5)

An anthology featuring four stories of inhuman passions from four of the hottest authors in paranormal romance...

“Alpha and Omega” by Patricia Briggs—
The werewolf Anna finds a new sense of self when the son of the werewolf king comes to town to quell unrest in the Chicago pack—and inspires a power in Anna she’s never felt before.

“Inhuman” by Eileen Wilks—Andie has a secret gift of sensing thoughts and desires. What she senses in her neighbor Nathan could be dangerous. Because he has a secret gift too, and it’s about to be let loose…

“Buying Trouble” by Karen Chance—A Lord of the Fey crosses paths with a fiery red-headed mage named Claire in a New York auction house. But in this strange underground society, the rarity up for sale is Claire herself.

“Mona Lisa Betwining” by Sunny—Among the children of the moon, Milady is of mixed blood—part Monère, part human, and destined to be alone. Until she meets a man who could be her salvation—or her downfall.

Patricia Briggs says: “When my editor called to ask me if I thought I could write a novella in Mercy's world -- I thought about it for a while, and decided to give Charles his chance upon the stage.”

Cry Wolf (Alpha&Omega #1)

#1 New York Times bestselling author Patricia Briggs presents the first Alpha and Omega novel—the start of an extraordinary series set in Mercy Thompson’s world, but with rules of its own...

Anna never knew werewolves existed until the night she survived a violent attack…and became one herself. After three years at the bottom of the pack, she’d learned to keep her head down and never, ever trust dominant males. But Anna is that rarest kind of werewolf: an Omega. And one of the most powerful werewolves in the country is about to recognize her value as a pack member—and as his mate.

Patricia Briggs says: “When I told Ann (my editor) that I wanted to write the story about Charles . . . she was pretty surprised because she hadn't been in my head when I first met him. But she gave me the go-ahead and when she read the story she really liked it. Enough to see if I could write a series about Charles. So, some characters jump on stage and fight to take over the novel. I think it says something about Charles that he demanded his own series!”

Hunting Ground (Alpha&Omega #2)

#1 New York Times bestselling author Patricia Briggs invites readers to follow her into the seductive realm of the Alpha and Omega series…

Anne Latham didn't know how complicated life could be until she became a werewolf and was mated to Charles Cornick, the son—and enforcer—of the leader of the North American werewolves. She didn't know how dangerous it could be either...

Anna and Charles have just been enlisted to attend a summit to present Bran's controversial proposition: that the wolves should finally reveal themselves to humans. But the most feared Alpha in Europe is dead set against the plan—and it seems like someone else might be, too. When Anna is attacked by vampires using pack magic, the kind of power only werewolves should be able to draw on, Charles and Anna must combine their talents to hunt down whoever is behind it all—or risk losing everything...

Patricia Briggs says: “Usually I play with the underpowered characters, those whose lives don't determine the fate of kingdoms. That way, if I screw up, I don't have the whole population of imaginary universes mad at me. On the other hand, I've always loved fairy tales and mythology…”

Fair Game (Alpha&Omega #3)

#1 New York Times bestselling author Patricia Briggs' third Alpha and Omega novel brings werewolves out of the darkness and into a society where fear and prejudice could turn the hunters into the prey…

It is said that opposites attract. And in the case of werewolves Anna Latham and Charles Cornick, they mate. The son—and enforcer—of the leader of the North American werewolves, Charles is a dominant Alpha. While Anna, an Omega, has the rare ability to calm others of her kind.

When the FBI requests the pack’s help on a local serial-killer case, Charles and Anna are sent to Boston to join the investigation. It soon becomes clear that someone is targeting the preternatural. And now Anna and Charles have put themselves right in the killer’s sights...

Patricia Briggs says: “I have this love/hate relationship with the A&O books. Some characters are easy for me—Mercy, Adam, Bran—and Charles. Anna . . . I love Anna, but she fought me every step of the way through Cry Wolf and Hunting Ground. It's like I can't get a real handle on her until I'm all the way through with the third or fourth revisions—and then I have to change everything again…. I am very pleased with Fair Game. It marks a change in both series, a move from exploration of Mercy's World (and that of Anna and Charles) to the world is changing.”

Dead Heat (Alpha&Omega #4)

Praised for “the perfect blend of action, romance, suspense, and paranormal” (Rex Robot Reviews), #1 New York Times bestselling author Patrica Briggs's Alpha and Omega series now takes readers into the middle of some bad supernatural business…

For once, mated werewolves Charles Cornick and Anna Lantham are not traveling because of Charles’s role as his father’s enforcer. This time, their trip to Arizona is purely personal. Or at least their visit starts out that way...

Charles and Anna soon discover that a dangerous fae being is on the loose, replacing human children with simulacrums. The fae have started a cold war with humanity that's about to heat up—and Charles and Anna are in the crossfire.

Patricia Briggs says: “Dead Heat takes place on the fringe of the "largest Arabian horse show on the planet." It's not a book about horses (someday, I'm going to write a YA about horses just for fun), but the Arab horse world adds color to the story. Like all of my books, it's an actiony fantasy with a dash of romance, not intended as great literature. Still . . . Dead Heat is about life and death. About how much courage it takes to bring new life into the world, and to say goodbye. It's about aging and family. But mostly? There is something hunting children in Arizona—and it must be stopped.”

Burn Bright (Alpha&Omega #5)

In her bestselling Alpha and Omega series, Patricia Briggs "spins tales of werewolves, coyote shifters, and magic and, my, does she do it well" (USA Today Online). Now mated werewolves Charles Cornick and Anna Latham face a threat like no other—one that lurks too close to home...

They are the wild and the broken. The werewolves too damaged to live safely among their own kind. For their own good, they have been exiled to the outskirts of Aspen Creek, Montana. Close enough to the Marrok's pack to have its support; far enough away to not cause any harm.

With their Alpha out of the country, Charles and Anna are on call when an SOS comes in from the fae mate of one such wildling. Heading into the mountainous wilderness, they interrupt the abduction of the wolf--but can't stop blood from being shed. Now Charles and Anna must use their skills--his as enforcer, hers as peacemaker--to track down the attackers, reopening a painful chapter in the past that springs from the darkest magic of the witchborn...

“If you're looking for romance-driven urban fantasy, Patricia Briggs' Alpha & Omega series is a great choice.”—Den of Geek (Patricia Briggs Does Werewolf Romance Right in Burn Bright)

“It’s no small thing to surprise a reader a dozen plus books deep into two series, but Briggs does just that in Burn Bright—not with a flashy revelation, but with a seismic jolt, shifting the ground beneath my feet by mere inches, and reorienting an entire landscape. Well done.”—Barnes & Noble (With Burn Bright, Patricia Briggs Upends Two Urban Fantasy Series at Once)

Wild Sign (Alpha&Omega #6)

Mated werewolves Charles Cornick and Anna Latham must discover what could make an entire community disappear—before it's too late—in this thrilling entry in the #1 New York Times bestselling Alpha and Omega series.

In the wilds of the Northern California mountains, all the inhabitants of a small town have gone missing. It's as if the people picked up and left their possessions behind. With a mystery on their hands and no jurisdiction on private property, the FBI dumps the whole problem in the lap of the land owner, Aspen Creek, Inc.--aka the business organization of the Marrok's pack.

Somehow, the pack of the Wolf Who Rules is connected to a group of vanished people. Werewolves Charles Cornick and Anna Latham are tasked with investigating, and soon find that a deserted town is the least of the challenges they face.

Death sings in the forest, and when it calls, Charles and Anna must answer. Something has awakened in the heart of the California mountains, something old and dangerous--and it has met werewolves before.

“Wild Sign was a great story, very intense and so well written by Patricia Briggs. What I love about our heroes, is their love for each other…. Wild Sign was an exciting, pulse pounding, fast paced, captivating story.”—The Reading Cafe (Wild Sign by Patricia Briggs – a Review)
