Flashback: ‘Supernatural’ (2005)
After losing their mother to a supernatural force, brothers Sam and Dean Winchester (played by Jared Padalecki and Jensen Ackles) were raised by their father to track mysterious creatures. Created by Eric Kripk, the show debuted on network WB on September 13, 2005, and subsequently became part of the lineup when the network switched to become CW. The series was going to end with its fifteenth season—but with production delays caused by the coronavirus pandemic, the final season was split into two half-seasons.
